One of our favorite parts of this job is hearing your stories! We love it when our customers tell us what they’re planning on accomplishing with the equipment they rent from us, or share their success stories about past rentals.
Of course, we’ve also heard our share of unsuccessful stories. More often than not, there are unexpected obstacles to overcome in home improvement and landscaping projects. We want you to get the most out of your time with the heavy equipment you are paying for, and that’s why we want to share any bits of expertise we can that will save you frustration in your project. For instance, a lot of our equipment is used for digging -- that’s why we always want our customers to be aware and cautious of the location of utility lines. Always call 811 before beginning a digging project. Within a few days, utility lines under your soil will be marked for free. Even if your project is relatively simple, or you’ve called in the past, have your lines marked with each new project as utility lines shift over time.
Neglecting to call can result in damaging underground utilities, which is not only dangerous, but could knock out electricity for your entire neighborhood. Not to mention fines and repair costs you would be responsible for, depending on the severity of the damage.
Make your project a success -- call 811!
